BEST DAY FOR THE CURTIS FAMILY

Jackson was sealed to his parents on Valentines Day. It was very special with Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, Grandparents and Great Grandma Berg to celebrate the big day.

Jackson and Brooke were blessed on Sunday Febuary 15, 2009

Brooke is cute all dresses in white.
Father and daughter enjoying the day.

Grandpa and his 1st born grand-daughter.

Baby Decker has arrived!!

Emily had her little (little = 8 lbs. 21 inches) girl today at 8:02 a.m. Many say she looks like Gavin but Gage says she looks just like Grandpa.
Both Jeff and Grandma Curtis witnessed the birth. She is healthy, pink!
And can cry when she wants to, but her brothers and Grandpa adore her.

Congratulations to Emily, Jeff, Gage and Gavin -
and to Grandma Curtis on her 2nd granddaughter!
She is definitely a keeper!

play day with Jackson

Jackson came over to the house to play today. He is getting cuter everyday. And these are just a few of the things we did.

He is not sure he likes to pose on the couch for me but he loves watching Barbara Walters on the View - (are you kidding me?) And he is definitely smiling more.

He sure loves to play with spoons and anything else he can pick up and put in his mouth.

Jackson loves playing with the ball.

Opps! He just got caught! Don't tell Brooke that he took her ball.

Jackson also enjoys reading his dog book - I guess it takes the place of Shadow when she cannot be here.

Lunch time anyone? The apple sauce was good and the sweet potatoes were very yummy - "I cleaned my whole plate Grandma!"

And I have the face to prove that everything was "lip-smacking good".

Then it was off to nap time - "I did better in the afternoon than I did in the morning - a good two hours worth."

While back at home Brooke slept most of the day.

Thanks to Jill for letting us spend the day together. We hope you got somethings done.

Twas the night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through our house

Tiny creatures were stirring, bringing joy to my spouse

There is Caleb, and Gage, and Parker make three

then Gavin, and Carson, and Jackson you see

Little Brooke being the youngest is next in line

Then baby Decker in 2009

Making reindeer hats was really quite fun

and frosting cookies for Santa to eat on the run

Wait, it looks like Jordan had something sour to drink

And Parker can't even see to think

Carson is drooling over Cookies (he can't eat)

And Brooke was happy just to sleep

(while we caught Gavin under the sheets)

Ashley got her a puppy and a little bling

Look Bradley gave her a ring

As we wish everyone a Merry Christmas

And to all a "Good Night"

My Sister

My dear sweet sister Susan passed away
yesterday after years of battling cancer.
December 6th, 2008 at 6:25 p.m.

I am thankful for having an older sister as an example.

She has now joined her mother and father
who have been anticpating her arrival.

Families are together forever.

I am thankful for the bonds of brothers and sisters.

We are thankful for the knowledge that we will see her again someday.
She has taught us about courage, determination, strength, and faith.
We will miss her! Love you Susan.
